Less than a year old, high-ish but not absurd mileage, and $13k. Damn.
Here’s a practically new one for $14k.

It was a rental, but then again, what 200 wasn't a rental.

I do believe this is what happens when the CEO says the car is an utter failure and is to be discontinued. Well, and the whole being an FCA Chrysler product thing.
My mom probably dodged a bullet saying no to one of these.

Chrysler product... I’m surprised it held that much value, honestly.
Who purchased this and then traded it in or got it repo’d?

Probably rebuilt

The interior looks comparable to 13-year old Pontiac Vibe. Probably rattles as much, too.

Guh. Imagine if you took out a 84 month loan on a new one of those with $0 down.
A lifetime of negative equity.

Insane! These are great looking cars. I wish they made one with an engine.

The thing is they never sold for anywhere near MSRP new, so it really isn’t that bad. When I was car shopping last year, low option, 4-cylinder 200's like this one were being advertised for $17-18k new.

I had one as a rental recently. Interior was quite nice for a mass-market midsize sedan.

Fair enough. To play Devil’s advocate, would you call it acceptable for American luxury vehicle?

No. That’s the problem with Chrysler, they can’t decide what they want the brand to be. The 300 and new Pacifica I think make decent “entry-lux” vehicles, but the 200 should have been a Dodge, it is competing squarely against the Malibus and Camrys in the market.

But what if we never appreciated it to begin with?
